How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads

For its first CTV campaign, Jennifer Aniston’s DTC haircare brand LolaVie had a few non-negotiables. The campaign had to be simple. It had to demonstrate measurable impact. And it had to be full-funnel.

LolaVie used Roku Ads Manager to test and optimize creatives — reaching millions of potential customers at all stages of their purchase journeys. Roku Ads Manager helped the brand convey LolaVie’s playful voice while helping drive omnichannel sales across both ecommerce and retail touchpoints.

The campaign included an Action Ad overlay that let viewers shop directly from their TVs by clicking OK on their Roku remote. This guided them to the website to buy LolaVie products.

⚡ 5 THINGS TO KNOW RIGHT NOW — BEFORE THE BELL

  1. 🛢️ Houthis strike Saudi Arabia's Jizan/Abha/Najran energy facilities overnight — Brent spiked to $99.18 (highest since July 24), Dow E-minis fell 476 points as the Iran-linked conflict enters a new escalation phase. Yemen's Tehran-backed Houthis attacked energy facilities and cities in Saudi Arabia early Tuesday, extending a conflict now in its seventh month. Yahoo!

🌍 MACRO BACKDROP — THE BIG PICTURE

We're trading the intersection of two stories today: an escalating Middle East energy shock and a jobs-market surprise that's re-scrambled Fed expectations three days before CPI. Friday's stronger-than-expected August payrolls report reminded markets the economy still has momentum, keeping the Fed's restrictive stance in play, and traders are now intensely focused on Friday's CPI print. The August jobs report showed 162,000 jobs added versus roughly 53,000 expected, pushing market-implied September rate-hike odds back up to around 60% after Fed Governor Waller's dovish-leaning comments earlier in the week had knocked those odds down near 48%. ParameterNadlan

Overnight, the story shifted from rates to energy. Saudi Aramco's oil facilities in Jizan were attacked again — the second such attack in under a month — and Kpler data shows Jizan's petroleum product shipments fell to zero in August, with Strait of Hormuz traffic down to its lowest level since May. That's not a one-day headline — it's a supply-chain fact pattern building into a real premium in the crude tape. All-Weather Media

On the White House side, the administration's posture remains consistent with prior months: officials have framed the oil spike as a "short-term disruption for the long-term gain" tied to Trump's energy dominance strategy, arguing the administration is working to keep global energy supplies moving despite the conflict. Fox News

This is a HEADLINE-DEPENDENT session. Every algo on the tape is watching the Middle East wire and CPI positioning simultaneously — don't fight illiquid, gap-driven moves into the 9:30 open.

🔥 HOT SECTOR #1: ENERGY 🛢️

Geopolitical premium re-inflating, the clearest directional sector today

Energy is the only sector with unambiguous, verified overnight strength. The Jizan/Abha/Najran strikes are a real, ongoing supply disruption — not a one-off headline — and Brent's push toward $99–$100 is dragging the entire energy complex higher pre-market while broad equities sit red.
