🌍 MACRO BACKDROP — THE BIG PICTURE

The market enters Monday with one defining theme: geopolitical resolution + Fed hawkishness = a two-speed market. U.S. equity futures were little changed Monday as Wall Street assessed the latest developments in Iran war negotiations and awaits the release of inflation data closely watched by the Federal Reserve. S&P 500 futures traded down 0.2%, while Nasdaq-100 futures hovered just below the flatline. CNBC

The S&P 500 gained nearly 1% in the prior period, seeing its 11th winning week in 12. The Dow also rose close to 1% on the week, while the Nasdaq Composite advanced more than 2%. U.S. markets were closed Friday for the Juneteenth holiday, giving traders three days of headline accumulation heading into Monday's open. The DCG chart shows ES pre-market at 7,563.50, holding just above the London Session low at 7,531 — a critical zone to watch. CNBC

In its first FOMC meeting chaired by Kevin Warsh, the committee held the federal funds rate in the 3.5% to 3.75% range. The dot plot sent a clear hawkish signal, with nine of the 18 participating policymakers predicting at least one rate hike by end of 2026. BofA now forecasts four 25bps hikes — September, October, October, and December 2026. This is the single biggest macro risk to equity valuations right now. Charles Schwab

A key test for the market this week will be the release on Thursday of May's reading on the personal consumption expenditures price index, the Fed's preferred inflation gauge. Following last week's hawkish Fed meeting, expectations of an interest rate increase were pulled forward to as soon as October. This is a HEADLINE-DEPENDENT session. Every Iran deal update and Fed speaker comment will move markets with outsized impact today. CNBC

🤖 STOCK MARKET NEWS — SECTOR BY SECTOR

🔥 HOT SECTOR #1: SEMICONDUCTORS / AI CHIPS 🤖

Apple-Intel Foundry Partnership + MU Earnings Week = The Biggest Chip Trade of June 2026

Intel Corporation experienced a strong upward move, driven by a series of high-profile developments that bolstered investor confidence in its foundry business and long-term artificial intelligence growth. The primary catalyst was a major political and industry announcement indicating a potential strategic collaboration with Apple to design and manufacture chips domestically in the United States. Tradingkey

The technology equipment sector is up 5.07% led by Intel +10.64%, Micron +8.70%, Marvell +7.27%, Nvidia +2.95%, AMD +4.86%, AVGO +4.70%, QCOM +6.17%, ARM +4.91%. This is broad-based semiconductor strength — not one-stock noise. The Roundhill Memory ETF ($DRAM) jumped nearly 3% premarket, gaining 163% since its April launch and becoming the fastest ETF to reach $20 billion in assets. Yahoo FinanceTS2

Micron Technology reports fiscal Q3 results Wednesday, June 24. Analysts at Deutsche Bank and TD Cowen both raised price targets to $1,500 ahead of results, citing AI demand outrunning supply through 2028. Key customers remain able to secure only between 50% and two-thirds of their bit demand requirements. This is the single highest-conviction earnings play of the week. BeInCrypto
